注意与population（人口）的区分，很多同学混淆。

同时本单元也学习了动词形式：
pollute v. 污染 现在分词:polluting, 过去式：polluted 过去分词: polluted
不过中考英语却出现了该单词的另一个变形：pollutant n. 污染物，可数名词.
