32 岁的巴西护士图尼·席尔瓦自2020年4月起就在里约热内卢的抗击新冠肺炎疫情前线工作,一个月后她感染了该病毒。在长达一个月的时间里,图尼的新冠病毒测试始终呈现阳性。在接下来的几个月里,她出现了包括全身感染、疼痛、疲劳、记忆力衰退、焦虑等症状,她也因此六个月没有工作。在确诊新冠的这段时间里,图尼深切地感受到,除了病毒本身带来的影响,病毒对患者的心理层面更是巨大的考验。因此,图尼目前正在攻读博士学位,研究疫情对巴西人心理健康的影响,希望可以未来帮助到更多的人。
Brazilian nurse Thuany Silva started working on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic in Rio de Janeiro in April 2020 and became infected with the virus a month later. For a month, Thuanys COVID-19 tests remained positive, and in the following months, the 32-year-old experienced a series of symptoms that kept her off work for six months. The symptoms included systemic infections, memory lapses, pain, fatigue and anxiety, which brought a significant psychological impact. In order to help others who shared similar experiences like her, Thuany is currently working on a PhD studying the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of the Brazilians.
